Flying Dollar Pilots

Landings on RWY 02, departures on RWY 20 only, due to sloping terrain. When downwind, be sure conditions are right for the Flying Dollar's one-way in / one-way-out traffic pattern. If temperatures are high, there's a strong tailwind, or gusts are squirrely, we recommend diverting to Mt. Pocono (MPO), just 8nm away.

All pilots and students are welcome. Please note that although RWY 02 does not have a displaced threshold, we find it is best to aim about 700' north of the southern threshold. (Cones mark 200' increments.) The upslope makes braking surprisingly easy after that. Landing at Flying Dollar is at your own risk. Always check NOTAMS and, if radio-equipped, use CTAF 122.9.
